Wouldnt it be great if everything could be purchased at the dollar store? I know I would love that. Sadly, that’s not the case but it is nice to be able to buy a lot of items that are much more expensive other places.

Makeup.

I know this sounds insane but some makeup is totally worth getting at the dollar store. If you already buy your make up at Walmart or target you might as well go here because it’s the same quality. This does not apply to foundation or concealer, that must be purchased outside of the dollar or you will look like you have slimy skin.

                                 Good makeup to buy at the dollar tree

Eyelashes, eyeliner, nail polish, fake nails, nail glue, eyeshadow, chapstick, shampoo, conditioner, luffas, cold face eye masks, bars of soap, glitter for nails, lip liner, lipstick, lip gloss, and manicure supplies.

Kitchen/ dining ware

Obviously, if you have a stable job and a real house you can afford regular plates and forks but if you are poor or a college student the dollar store is amazing for you. There is a whole section of kitchen tools and silverware, they also have great glasses and bowls and plates. Everything is of an average quality so you are really saving a bunch here.

Cleaning supplies

They do have off-brand cleaning supplies but they also have the brand name ones too. Scoop all of it up because he sane mop at another store might be seven dollars rather than one. Their mops, scrub brushes, rubber gloves, air fresheners, cleaning supplies like Lysol and everything you could imagine are all worth buying at the dollar tree.

Decor

If you like to DIY the dollar tree is great they have pens pencils colored pencils markers and a bunch of art supplies. they also have glass vases candles and fake flowers. Trust me you don’t want to buy your fake flowers at Jo-ann fabrics or Michaels if the dollar store has what you are looking for because they are marked up like five times. They also have picture frames that can easily be refinished and other great things like trays and potpourri etc.

I swear I’m not sponsored by the dollar tree haha I just really like them and I don’t want anyone to have to pay more money than they should for something that’s available for a dollar.
